Martin Brody is the new police chief of Amity, an island resort town somewhere in New England aka (Massachusetts). He has a wife named Ellen, and two sons named Michael and Sean. On a Summer morning, Brody is called to the beach, where the mangled body of Summer vacationer Chrissie Watkins has washed ashore. The medical examiner tells Brody that it could have been a shark that killed Watkins. Mayor Larry Vaughn, who is desperate to not lose the money that will be brought in by 4th of July tourists, wants Brody to say Watkins's death was caused by a motorboat propeller instead of a shark, because the thought of a shark in Amity's waters would drive tourists away from Amity. It looks like Vaughn is a mayor who puts money ahead of people's lives. Shark expert Matt Hooper believes Watkins was killed by a shark. Hooper is proven right a few days later, when Alex Kintner is killed by the shark that killed Watkins. Looking for the quickest solution, Vaughn tells all of the local fishermen to let him know if they see the shark. A shark hunter named Quint offers to find the shark and kill it but for a price $10000, but Vaughn thinks Quint's price of $10000 is too high. When a tiger shark is killed and hauled in by a couple of boaters, Vaughn hastily says that the shark crisis is over, but Hooper says the shark that's been killing people a huge great white shark is still in Amity's waters, but Vaughn leaves the beaches opened because all he cares about is the 4th of July tourist ...

Der Club wurde am 17. März 1948 in den USA in Fontana (San Bernardino County, Kalifornien) gegründet. Unter der Führung von Ralph „Sonny" Barger schlossen sich ab 1. April 1957 im kalifornischen Oakland weitere Clubs unter diesem Label zusammen. Im Verlauf der 1960er Jahre dehnte sich die Gruppe zunächst über die USA, den amerikanischen Kontinent und danach auch auf andere Länder aus. 1969 gerieten die Hells Angels in die Schlagzeilen, als sie bei einem Konzert der Rolling Stones auf dem nordkalifornischen Altamont Speedway, dem Altamont Free Concert, als Ordner fungierten. Der 18-jährige Zuschauer Meredith Hunter wurde direkt vor der Bühne von einem Mitglied erstochen, nachdem er unter Drogeneinfluss eine Schusswaffe gezogen hatte und auf die Rolling Stones zielte. Das Gericht erkannte auf Notwehr und sprach den Ordner frei. Als Gründer der ersten Hells-Angels-Gruppe auf dem europäischen Kontinent -- sie entstand in der Schweiz und erhielt die Lizenz Ende 1970 -- gilt Martin „Tino" Schippert. Im norddeutschen Raum formierte sich Ende der 1960er Jahren eine Rocker-Gruppe, die dann am 16. März 1973 die erste Gebietsvertretung in Deutschland in Hamburg gründete (siehe Hells Angels Deutschland). The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role. The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station. First 'Hunter x Hunter' Commercial Streamed [2011 PREVIEW]
Hunter x Hunter ( 2nd October 2011 ) www.Fandompost.com : NTV is starting to get things rolling for its upcoming broadcast of the new Hunter x Hunter series which is starting from the beginning again and is intended to run for several seasons (with hopes of it going further as well). The series is kicking off on October 2nd in Japan and is based on the manga of the same name that is still ongoing with twenty-nine volumes to its name by Yoshihiro Togashi. The previous run of the anime was done back in 1999 and ran for 62 episodes and then had thirty episodes released direct to video after that. Viz Media previously released only the TV series here and has released the manga as well.

Emile Francisco de Antonio (May 14, 1919 -- December 16, 1989) was an American director and producer of documentary films, usually detailing political or social events circa 1960s--1980s. He has been referred to by scholars and critics alike, and arguably remains, "...the most important political filmmaker in the United States during the Cold War." de Antonio was born in 1919 in in the coal-mining town of Scranton, Pennsylvania. His father, Emilio de Antonio, an Italian immigrant, fostered the lifelong interests of Antonio by passing on his own love for philosophy, classical literature, history and the arts. Although his intelligence allowed him the privilege of attended Harvard University alongside future-president John F. Kennedy, he was also familiar with the working class experience, making his living at various points in his life as a peddler, a book editor, and the captain of a river barge (among other duties). After serving in the military during World War II as a bomber pilot, de Antonio returned to the United States where he frequented the art crowd, often associating with such Pop artists as Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, and Andy Warhol, in whose film Drink de Antonio appears. Warhol was famously quoted praising de Antonio with the words, "Everything I learned about painting, I learned from De."
